Honorary Member

An individual who has made outstanding contributions to the work of the auxiliary and to the promotion and protection of engineering education, research and practice for at least five years.

An individual with at least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, an extraordinary record of accomplishment that contributed importantly to the advancement of engineering, distinctive public service, and not less than 15 years of active engineering practice.

Full Member

A full member of ESOL in good standing who is a graduate of an accredited school of engineering with a bachelor's degree in the auxiliary's professional sector, or holds an equivalent qualification through training and practice.

Full member of ESOL in good standing; bachelor's degree from an accredited school of engineering in Electrical, Electronics, IT or Telecommunications, or equivalent qualification through training and practice (reviewed by the Membership Committee and approved by the Executive Committee).

Passport photo, Government ID, CV/Résumé, Academic credentials (bachelor's degree), Evidence of ESOL membership, Professional license/certificate (if applicable).
Upgrade pathway
May be elevated to Fellow upon an extraordinary record of accomplishment and ≥15 years of active practice (by Executive Committee nomination, approved by the ESOL Board).

Graduate Member

A full or graduate member of ESOL in good standing who is a graduate of an accredited school of engineering with a bachelor's degree within the auxiliary's professional sector, or holds an equivalent qualification through training and practice.

Transitions out of Student grade by the end of the calendar year of graduation; upgrade to Graduate/Associate/Full upon qualification.

Fees and annual dues

Figures are set by the SEEITE Constitution & By-Laws (Article 5) and reviewed periodically by the Annual Conference. Dues are paid in advance; the fiscal year runs January–December.
